Robin Guo
CEO & Co-Founder

Robin Guo leads the business side of LionBio, including strategy, business development, hiring, fundraising, and marketing. He was formerly a VC at Andreessen Horowitz, and helped created the a16z speedrun program. Before that, he studied Biomedical Engineering at Columbia and worked at McKinsey in their pharmaceuticals group.

Dr. Kam W. Leong is the Samuel Y. Sheng Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University and a globally recognized leader in biomaterials, nanomedicine, and drug delivery. A member of the National Academy of Engineering, National Academy of Medicine, and National Academy of Inventors, he has authored over 600 publications and holds more than 60 patents.

As Co-Founder of LionBio Therapeutics, he is an inventor of the company's core technologies and provides scientific leadership for its intranasal therapeutic platform.

Dr. Huiyi Liang
Dr. Huiyi Liang
Founding Senior Scientist

Dr. Huiyi Liang is a biomedical engineer trained in polymer chemistry, with over 10 years of experience in biomaterials, gene delivery, and drug delivery. Her work focuses on polymer- and nanoparticle-based platforms for nucleic acid delivery, gene editing, and peptide therapeutics, with applications in immune modulation, metabolic disease, and neurological disorders.

As a Founding Scientist of LionBio Therapeutics, Dr. Liang leads formulation development, preclinical planning, and translational strategy for the company’s intranasal GLP-1 therapeutic platform.

Scientific Advisor

Professor Edward Guo is the Stanley Dicker Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University, where he directs the Bone Bioengineering Laboratory and previously chaired the BME department, helping grow it into a top-ten national program. A leading expert in biomechanics, medical imaging, and translational research, he also serves as Scientific Advisor to LionBio, providing strategic guidance on the development of innovative therapeutic technologies.
